Ross Dwyer Kevin Durant‘s been known to heat things up in the NBA Playoffs, and he’s doing it in style this year thanks to this “University Red” colorway of his brand-new Nike KD 12. A makeup that the Slim Reaper’s sported frequently through the course of the Warriors’ first round series against the plucky Clippers, the KD 12 offers a three-quarter cut, a soft and flexible Flyknit tongue, and a Zoom Air cushioning unit placed directly under the insole for maximum responsiveness. The tech is top-notch, but you play your best when you look your best, so this KD 12 features a bright red upper that’s accented with orange-reddish hits around the throat and black detailing on the tongue, collar, laces, and midfoot Swoosh. The shoe is then completed by a soft grey midsole with black/red speckle print thats encased in a sturdy translucent rubber shell. The Durantula’s new kicks will release on May 3rd for $150 USD, so check a store list below to see what retailers will have stock.
