Ross Dwyer Nike’s Blazer Mid 77 Vintage has garnered widespread acclaim from sneaker aficionados who prefer a clean and classic look, and now it’s set to release in a new “Optic Yellow” colorway that’s ideal for the balmy months ahead. Simplicity is key with this high-cut pair of old-school basketball sneakers, so the upper is dressed in a traditional smooth white leather, while shaggy light grey suede overlays grace both the toe cap and the lateral forefoot. A bright punch of seasonally appropriate color is then provided by bold yellow Swooshes on the quarter panels and a Nike text hit on the heel. An exposed foam tongue with classic branding on the offers another traditional method of embellishment, and the look is then completed by insole Swooshes, a white rubber midsole, and a gum outsole.
