Sneaker News LeBron James and Nike are feeling the early 90s vibes as they revisit the Air Tech Challenge II for an upcoming Nike LeBron 16 drop. Considered to be one of the most recognizable and era-defining sneakers in history, this tennis/training shoe worn by Andre Agassi championed the “Hot Lava” theme with a splattered graphics on the upper – one the appears on the heel of LeBron’s signature model in two options. The white version maintains a clear nod to the original, while a second alternate colorway of black presents an “Away” theme. Both styles keep consistent with the materials of the 1991 original with ribbed nylon, micro-perforated leather, and leather Swoosh logos. Expect an official release on Nike SNKRS and at Nike Basketball retailers beginning on May 24th.
