The Nike M2K Tekno Gel Goes Full Orange

Since first being introduced in 2018, the Nike M2K Tekno has served as the Swoosh Brand’s modern-day entrant into the ironic “dad shoe” market, appearing in makeups both intentionally simple and extremely colorful. Now, the bolder sect of Tekno colorways is gaining another member thanks to this new orange Gel take. Offering vibrant tangerine tones up top with ever-so-slightly more subtle pastels down on the midsole and outsole, these citrusy Nike shoes also boast a medley of materials, with the upper using everything from synthetic fabric on the base to leather on the toebox/heel and translucent plastic on the midfoot overlays. There’s also a handful of chromed-out hits as well, thanks to the sizeable heel clip and midfoot Swoosh. These Teknos are certainly not for the faint of heart — and may scare off some traditional Air Monarch loyalists — but if you’re adventurous enough you’ll be able to scoop a pair on Nike.com in the coming weeks for $130 USD.
