Michael Le In arguably terms, New Balance has never quite rocked the boat much aside from the few vibrant colorways that have graced their collaborative circles, though in its latest endeavor — hailed from what they call the “Sample Lab” — the Boston imprint is channeling the allure of surprise as they craft what is essentially a capsule toy experience of Made in England options. Two silhouettes of three respective variations will be up for grabs here, with bits of earth tones, strong saturated hues, and much more up randomly assigned to whomever chooses to gamble. The 1500 is by and large the most simplistic as its palettes are dark in tint and relatively neutral in comparison to its compatriots. Deep blues mix with hearty reds while rich purples take seat right next to bits of tanned earth tones. In departure, the 1530 is for those who fear no color as its imposing profile is struck with notes of green, hot pink, blinding yellows, and fresh lime greens (sometimes all at one time).
