Combining black, grey, and beige, these 98s feature unique details like exposed foam edges, a visible production tag on the tongue, and a soft beige midfoot overlay that hangs loosely over the grey suede mudguard to emphasize the reversed look. The branding is altered as well, with the midfoot/toebox Swooshes and the heel’s text hit appearing as simple outlines to indicate that you’re just looking at what’s holding the famous logos together. Down below, the midsole, outsole, and Air Max unit have been left intact however, as the Swoosh Brand hasn’t figured out a way to evert cushioning systems just yet.
