The Nike N.354 Huarache Type Receives Navy Blue Uppers

The Nike N.354 Huarache Type Receives Navy Blue Uppers

Part of Nike’s conceptual N.354 sub-line, the Nike Huarache Type is an appealing amalgamation of the Tinker Hatfield-designed runner and a prototype Nike ACG Mowabb from 2001, and it’s now popped up in a bold navy blue colorway. With a combination of synthetic materials, bold textures, and multiple tones, the upper seems as if it could fall apart at any minute. However, it’s held together by a navy blue ripstop toebox, midfoot/heel cage that’s split between black nylon and blue synthetics, and a burgundy Velcro strap that wraps around to the heel. The base layer then combines a rich navy neoprene with pockmarked textures and an aqua blue synthetic. Branded flair is added by hits on the heel, toebox, and throat. Since the upper’s so complex, the midsole and outsole opt to keep things simple instead, presenting a sporty combo of white and grey with further shape and texture to complete the look. Check out a full gallery of official images directly below, and look for these new Types to hit Nike.com soon with a retail price of $120 USD.
