The Air Jordan 9 “Gym Red” Is Dropping In Full Family Sizes

The Air Jordan 9 “Gym Red” Is Dropping In Full Family Sizes

Michael Jordan never took the court in a pair of Air Jordan 9s as a member of the Chicago Bulls, but the AJ9 is a classic piece of Jordan Brand history nonetheless. Now, the shoe that debuted during his first retirement is set to release in a “Gym Red” colorway that’s not difficult to visualize on the United Center hardwood. These new Air Jordans utilize a crisp white leather base, then proceed to accent it with a healthy dose of red patent leather on the upper’s elongated overlays plus black accents on the eyestays, tongue, and heel tab. Branded detailing is provided by a white #23/rubberized Jordan globe logo on the heel and a text-equipped tongue tag. Down below, a high-gloss red midsole and white outsole with black Jumpman logos finalizes the look. Surprisingly enough, this is the first time that red patent has been used on the Air Jordan 9, and everyone will be able to partake in the fun, as these “Gym Reds” will release in a full family size run, ranging from men’s to toddlers. Check out a collection of images below, and look for a retail debut on October 5th.
