Michael Le Originally seen on the Air Max 95, Nike’s multicolor and denim-dressed tooling appears once more though translated into the design language of the sleeker Air Max 200. Though connected in both palette and materials, this silhouette’s take arrives much more distinct, featuring two variations of the indigo staple while also setting up a backdrop of many a statement hue. Base synthetics and mesh underlays are the most bold in their dye: toe boxes as well as the rest of the panelling prefer an asymmetric coloring, swapping in and out of Voltage Purple and University Red and then adding extra brightening notes of a sunflower yellow. Overlays, of course, are the most standout as they do their best Canadian tuxedo impression: their face, which is mostly faded to a vintage lightwash, are placed right on top of smaller segments in darker shade and heavily distressed edges.
