Nike’s React Ianga Appears In Rugged “Club Gold” Colorway

Inspired by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman‘s time in the 10th Mountan Division during World War II and featuring a look that falls somewhere in between a combat boot and a React Element 55/React Element 87, the Nike React Ianga is a unique piece of lifestyle footwear, and it’s now surfaced in a rugged “Club Gold” colorway. Offering a compelling autumnal combination of a boot-height cut but a lighter construction, these interesting Iangas are constructed of a rugged tan fabric that’s accented by supple leather on the toebox, shaggy suede on the heel, and taped detailing around select eyestays. Although the base is indeed brogan-esque, there’s plenty of sporty flair added by the black accents on the oval-shaped midfoot overlay, the abstract plastic heel clip, and the cored-out black React midsole with white plugs. Branding is mostly kept to a minimum here as well — the only Swooshes present are small volt versions at the very bottom of the throat, and a volt “The 10th” hit appears on the lateral collar to let you know just what collection these Nike shoes are part of. If you’re looking to do some urban hiking of your own this season, you’ll be able to secure these Iangas for $130 USD in the coming weeks, so check out a retailer list below to see what stores will have stock.
