MoMa Turns The Vans Era Into An Abstract Piece Of Art

MoMa Turns The Vans Era Into An Abstract Piece Of Art

The sneaker world’s fancy for modern art has often lead to many a collaborative make-up or inspired creation, with the legion of top brands crafting their own spins on iconic artist motifs. Doing much of the same, though with the backing of one of the most renowned museums, Vans is throwing their classic Era silhouette through a ringer of vibrant tones. A partnership with the equally legendary Museum of Modern Art for their grand reopening, the silhouette arrives not too unlike the Anaheim brand’s mainline creations, taking up their now signature patchwork arrangements and sprawling them with co-branded type. Asymmetric by intention, the left foot embroiders with “MoMa” all across its construction surrounded by geometric blocks of green, orange, blue, and pink; the opposing side, which favors the classic Vans logo instead, takes two of the aforementioned and tops on a pastel aqua and saturated yellow. Take in all the details right below, and if you’d like a pair for yourself, be ready as the limited collection is set to be available right now at the MoMa design store.
