HAVEN Applies Pristine Leather And Suede To Their Vans Vault Collection

Out of every sneaker brand, Vans continues to be the most diverse in terms of collaborations; once dressing up in patchwork denim thanks to FDMTL, applying floral embellishments through UNDERCOVER, and then donning luxurious materials by way of Diemme, the Anaheim imprint is now joining up with Canadian retailer HAVEN for militaristic creations. Starting off strong with what has become the poster boy of the Jazz Stripe flags, the Era arrives fully at their disposal with uppers bearing fabrications of high quality in a seemingly two-toned presentation done through texture rather than contrasting tones. Toes feature smooth, shimmering leathers while the rear constructions break up the tonal palette in velvety suede. Either dressed in an olive drab or a flat black, both toolings are almost wholly connected with its high-top sibling, though the Sk8-Hi prefers a more asymmetric arrangement. Laterals are done up in the same leathers, matching that of its center, while medials take on the more matte alternative.
