The Nike PG 4 Is Launching In January

For four years in a row, Nike Basketball will be introducing a Paul George signature in the early Spring. With a design helmed by Tony Hardman, the PG signature series has not only been a reliable performance model among ballers as its been spotted regularly on the NBA court by Nike athletes across the league, but also a main attraction to sneakerheads for its thoughtful collaborations with Sony Playstation, NASA, and even a string of ACG-themed colorways. Like the first three models, the Nike PG 4 will once again be closer to a low-cut silhouette with an exterior mesh shell enclosed by a zipper. The midsole will also featured tiny nubs on the exposed foam, with an exterior stripe calling out embedded Air cushioning.

According to Foot Locker’s release calendar, the long-awaited Nike PG 4 is set to drop in January in a black/white/smoke grey mix; while the retailer has it listed as a January 1st drop, it is likely a placeholder for a later date in that month. It’s also possible that George could debut the new silhouette when the Clippers take on the Lakers in an intra-LA battle on Christmas. Stay tuned for an official announcement from Nike.
