Reebok Brings Back The Unforgettable Shaqnosis

Upon his entrance into the NBA, Shaquille O’neal signed on with Reebok in a massive endorsement deal that saw the near-immediate release of a signature shoe – the Shaq Attaq. The widely successful launch was expected; he completely disrupted the league with his dominant style of play, but Shaq possessed an amiable charisma that very few seemed to have. With his rising stardom, Reebok had to deliver a shoe equally mesmerizing as the Orlando Magic superstar, and deliver they did. The Shaqnosis, onr of the original installments of the Mobius collection, first hit retail during one of the boldest eras in basketball footwear; shoes like the Air Jordan 11 and Air More Uptempo were instantly recognizable for their audacious designs, but remember – Shaq had to outshine the newly launched signature shoe of his them teammate Penny Hardaway. With a hypnotizing upper emphasized by a sharp white/black colorway, the Shaqnosis was an era-defining creation that lived up to unstoppable force that laced up the shoes. While not the first time this model has re-issued, this original colorway of the Hall of Famer’s sig shoe is currently available for purchase on Reebok’s official site overseas; a U.S. release is expected soon, with a 25th Anniversary commemoration possibly in the works for next year.

UPDATE: This Reebok Shaqnosis is dropping on Reebok.com on January 13th, 2020 with a price tag of $140 USD.
