Jordan Brand Flips The “He Got Game” For Upcoming Air Jordan 13

Jordan Brand Flips The “He Got Game” For Upcoming Air Jordan 13

Though the Air Jordan 13 hasn’t seen quite as much spotlight as other models in recent months, it still holds some of the most pivotal moments in the entire line-up. Among those, the “He Got Game” colorway — which was worn by MJ himself during the 97-98 season and by Denzel Washington in the same-named film — is one oft-referenced even with the silhouette’s latest, a pair whose likeness is being touted as a reverse of that very same scheme. As such, the signature black and white hues are effectively flipped from its mudguard to the tumbled leather upper; the latter, now dyed much, much darker, takes up the majority of the entire aesthetic with accenting bits of white dressing up the lower half and rear constructions just above grey midsole walls. Elsewhere, the design doses in sparing red detailing along the “JORDAN” logo hit across the vamp and the emblem hidden along the outsole, but it’s the Jumpman on the tongue that furthers speculation, outlining with circular embroidery in a way similar to that of the “Playoff.” Grab a quick look at these just below, and if you’re interested in picking up a set, they’re rumored to release just a bit later in Spring 2020.
