The Reebok Question Mid “Heart Over Hype” Arrives on December 23rd

“When Philly rock with you, we rock with you until the wheels fall off.” This very all-in outlook is palpable in Philadelphia – a city that takes its cheesesteaks just as serious as its sports and fashion. Home of the team that drafted the ever-cool Allen Iverson in 1996, the “Athens of America” has a new guard in town already poised to be a local star: Josh Richardson. The first-year 76er has been making an impact on the hardwood in the Reebok Question Mid this season and has recently been tapped by the Boston-based brand to debut the ’96 model’s “Heart Over Hype” iteration as he connects with the people who’ve helped create and maintain his new city’s culture.

The first of an upcoming series highlighting certain parts of Iverson’s personal life, the bold red and black colorway not only represents the passion that #3 displayed on a nightly basis at the Wells Fargo Center, but that also exists among Philly’s unheralded residents – from shop owners to dirt bike riders. The Mid’s scarlet upper is only contrasted at the toe and heel with an attention-grabbing patent leather.

If you’re looking to complete your Christmas outfit or still (last-minute) searching for the perfect gift, you can find these hitting Reebok and the Footlocker family of brands on December 23rd in full family sizes. And if you’re around Philly, Reebok will be distributing pairs of the “Heart Over Hype” Mid throughout the city on January 8th, 2020. While you wait for their release, check out images of the shoe here and watch Reebok’s short film below.
