The Nike Air Max 270 React ENG Releases On January 16th

The Nike Air Max 270 React ENG Releases On January 16th

First unveiled last month under the guise of a new Travis Scott x Nike sneaker, the Air Max 270 React ENG is slated to usher in its updated-for-2020-look next week. As if the model’s new engineered, wavy upper wasn’t quirky enough, its retail debut dresses it up in a vibrant outfit simultaneously evoking X-Men’s Wolverine and candy-cane vibes. Originally thought to be exclusive to kids, this iteration of the lifestyle silhouette sports a yellow mesh base accented by “Laser Blue” at the forefoot and leather lace guards. Lace toggles – a feature new to the AM270 – also opt in for the blue hues, though they prefer a translucent finish. The most notable design change brought about by the ENG version are the curved, Air Max Plus-like lines overlaid throughout much of the toebox, midfoot, and heel in a striped gradient. Down under, however, the story stays the same from last year as the model’s hybrid-cushioning remains intact, though donning this pair’s cotton candy-like palette.

Grab a look at official images of the tweaked Air Max 270 React below and get ready for its Nike.com and select retailers release on January 16th.
