For the better part of the past decade, however, the brand’s foray into women’s footwear has largely resulted in simply feminizing men’s silhouettes like this recently surfaced Jordan 1 Mid in a “Barely Rose” outfit. Closely resembling its Nova XX counterpart, mudguards, midfoot overlays, and heel panels are constructed with soft-colored suede. Toe boxes, tongues, and profile swooshes add contrast not only through their black color-choice, but also with their saffiano leather-like assembly. Down below, the color combo spills over onto the midsole and outsole, but the story changes up at the pair’s ankle flaps and rear bottom overlay as a spectrum of purples and greens, among other hues, are introduced via these panels’ iridescent finish.
