The adidas Pro Model Celebrates Chicago With Varsity Jacket Concept

The adidas Pro Model Celebrates Chicago With Varsity Jacket Concept

With All Star Weekend nearby, every label is coming out of the woodworks with their own celebratory release — Nike with their full umbrella run, New Balance with their Joe Freshgoods collaboration, and now adidas with some playful touches informed by vintage styling. The Pro Model, which is arguably close to as retro as the Three Stripes gets, now dyes in a full, vibrant red, paying homage to the Windy City’s flags sans the light blue that accents its backdrop; more overt references then sit down the strip along the heel, whose embellishment are not only of gold-adorned trefoils but also a quartet of 6-pointed stars. Elsewhere, suede outfits the construction for an elegant aesthetic, liners come in complement, soles wash to a bright yet not bleached ecru, and the lateral sprawls with ornate embroidery, one that mimics classic tackle twill as it spells “Chicago” in clean cursive appliques. Grab a detailed look at these right here, and if you’re looking for a pair of your own, they’re currently available at adidas.com.
