Nike Springs Into The Warmer Months With The Air Max 98 “Watermelon”

Just as the 95 did the same, the Nike Air Max 98 is joining in on the Summer fun, paying homage to the very same fruit though mostly in color alone. Gone are the more overt color blockings of the aforementioned for a loose homage to watermelon — its signature pink and green tones dressing up the accents of a mostly neutral black/white kit. White mesh seats the base at the top line, tongues alongside, with the sculpted overlays along the profile only marked with the floral tone along its embroidered check; below, black takes up the mudguards in full, placed just above a sole of green-tinged air bubbles. These vibrant tones then arrange across the radial detailing, piping across, vamp overlays, and even the heel pulls for a much more energetic salute to the warmer months nearly upon us.
