First rumored to launch this month back in December 2019, the Travis Scott 270 may be among the sneakers delayed by the current COVID-19 pandemic given how little is still unknown about it. And yet, the updated Air Max 270 React design it revealed late last year has enjoyed a steady release roster. Soon enough, a “Blackened Blue” ensemble will join a watermelon colorway and tribute to the Air Max 95.
While not exactly the “Sprite” scheme recently seen on the LeBron 17, shades of “Team Royal” and “Green Strike” create an equally striking arrangement on the Air Max model. TPU lines borrowed from the Air Max Plus family further animate the mostly-navy upper with their wavy, aqua composition. Laces and lace toggles work in tandem with React cushioning to tone things down in white, but plump Air units at the heel inject some flair underfoot.
A release date for this striking Air Max 270 React ENG hasn’t been confirmed yet, but pairs are likely dropping at Nike.com in the coming weeks. Until then, enjoy official images of the shoes here below.
In other Swoosh-related news, the Stussy Nike Zoom Spiridons arrive on March 21st.
