Elliot Santiago It’s been quite sometime since we’ve seen and/or heard from Damian Lillard due to this unfortunate virus outbreak, but in his absence, we’ve interestingly been learning more and more about the Trailblazers’ superstar through his signature footwear family. Several of his renditions have visually articulated his love for things such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and crossword puzzles, and now his adidas Dame 6 is translating his love for the globally-recognized food entity – McDonalds. If you’ve ever set foot into the ever-popular fast food chain, you’d notice that one of their sides include their special Sweet and Sour sauce. And these hoops-ready iterations translate the essence of this condiment’s packaging as its lateral sides apply its identical bright green hues paired up with an oversized yellow “M” logo. Furthermore, details arrive via “Dame Sauce” text landing on the tongues as well as onto the medial midsole midsoles that contrast with a vibrant orange.
While this collaboration may seem rather out of the blue, it isn’t the first time Lillard’s shoes and the Dollar Menu kings have been seen together as the D Lillard 1 once received a makeover for the iconic McDonalds All-American High School game back in 2015.
