Jovani Hernandez Recent highlights from adidas’ 1980s-inspired silhouettes include the ZX 8000 and ZX Torsion. Set to join the retro trainer mix in May is a modernized ZX 750.
Aptly named the ZX 750 HD, the model mixes heritage with new-age design. Uppers kept their traditional shape, but no-sew overlays throughout deliver modern-day aesthetics and comfort. Though clad in “Cloud White” on the pair seen here, supporting accents — which include profile Three Stripes and external heel cages — further nod to yesteryear while simultaneously fitting in today. “Signal Green” interrupts the tonal arrangement by taking over the updated heel composition and “ZX_750_HD” text at the tongue and lateral midfoot.
