Best Look Yet At The Air Jordan 5 “Bel-Air” Alternate

In the middle of celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Air Jordan 5 is already off to a remarkable start in terms of noteworthy releases in 2020 including its collaboration with Virgil Abloh‘s Off-White imprint, as well as the return of its Nike Air-branded “Fire Red”. This Fall, its commemorative lineup is going to be repleted with even more options for its loyal fans; one of which includes this interesting alternate “Bel-Air” makeup. Shining a spotlight once again on Will Smith‘s popular 90s television series “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, this forthcoming makeup pulls similar design language from its 2013 predecessor, but makes some modifications to its accents. Multi-colored sock liner patterns, stark black tongues and purple midsole molds are kept intact, but the base is now dialed up to an angelic swathe. Additionally, the Jumpman insignias and lateral “23” hits now alternate between neon green and red hues, while the midsole spikes see through to red and purple complexions. Peep a closer look here, and find these dropping via Nike.com and select retailers later this year for $200.

For other Jordan Brand news, here’s a detailed look at the upcoming Flint 13.
