Michael Le Aided by the current resurgence of trail sneakers, the adidas Torsion TRDC has produced a number of noteworthy releases since its revival late last year. And in a vein similar to its Norse Projects partnership, the silhouette is teaming up with retailer Solebox to provide a clean “Scallop” named colorway.
Brought to life by the vision of Aljoscha Kondratiew, the boutique’s General Manager, the silhouette takes on a series of Summer appropriate tones. But instead of coloring vibrantly, much of the upper lies understated with a small breadth of white to off-white shades — the latter being an obvious nod to its inspiration of choice. Elsewhere, hi-vis accents steer the eye towards the miniature three stripes logo hits on the profile as well as well as the secondary coloring of the heel counter. Smaller decal lines show a preference for a highlighter yellow while an equally fluorescent orange dyes the heel tab and tread.
