Nike Adds Regrind Soles To This Air Max 270 React

The Nike Air Max 270 React has been delivering dual-comfort for a year. Now, it’s embarking on the North American company’s mission to reduce waste by donning outsoles laden with recycled rubber grind.

Akin to the original Space Hippie 04, the “space junk”-like detail dons a light grey hue complemented by red, blue, black, and speckling. React foam cushioning and Air Max units forgo any multi-color palette in favor of “White” and clear arrangements, respectively. Uppers, however, indulge in an array of summer-ready tones: “Flash Crimson: takes over profile Swooshes and accents on the tongue; “Hydrogen Blue”, “Cucumber Green”, and “Poison Yellow” divvy up suede overlays; and pull tabs at the heel sport a “Volt”-like hue.

A stateside Nike.com launch is likely in the works, but this Air Max 270 React is now available at The Swoosh’s Hong Kong webstore.

Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, the Jordan 12 University Gold launches on July 18th.
