In an effort to bring together emerging high school hoops talent together under the same roof, former NBA superstar Allen Iverson came up with the idea to build his own personal All-American game that we now know as the “Iverson Classic”. This year, the event was supposed to embark on its fourth round of festivities, but amid everything going on with the global pandemic, it was unfortunately forced to be put on hold. As most know, AI’s signature footwear line falls under the Reebok brand, and in alignment with this year’s event the two had cooked up a special Question Mid colorway. Rather than scrap it, they’ve opted to still move forward with its release plans.
Right away, the midsoles serve as the biggest eye-catcher as they are wrapped entirely in Georgetown Hoya patterns and colors as a nod to the Hall of Famer’s alma mater. In addition, the customary “3” insignia found on the lower heel has been appropriately exchanged for the official Iverson Classic emblem. Moving to it’s upper half, while primarily hued with sultry black suedes, golden touches land on the vector logos and lace loop lettering, while the toe tip and heel paneling dye with dark navy; the latter of which spells out the shoe’s nickname.
These are available now in Greece, but expect a stateside drop on Reebok.com to arrive in the coming weeks for the model’s usual $150 tag.
Over at the Three Stripes, a Packer adidas Ultra 4D is in the works.
