From his Colorist New Balance collection to his trio of ASICS homages, Ronnie Fieg has undoubtedly kept up the pace in terms of his collaborative output. And now, for his KITH imprint’s season 5 collection with Converse, the designer has invited Coca-Cola along once again for what is now the fourth time. Effectively a brand new rendition of past works, the capsule is poised to deliver an expansive series of co-branded apparel along with a trio of low-top Chuck 70s, a silhouette new to the partnership.
But while a fresh start in the way of model, each of the total three colorways makes use of a familiar logo-heavy design language, one that inches quite close to what was released the last time we saw KITH and Coca-Cola together. Denim constructs the upper in near entirety with dyes of Parchment, Navy, and Red while the tooling and cap toe all share the same ecru-accented construction. The soft drink imprint’s signature calligraphy then sprawls along the side of the lateral in complementing shades, extending back unto the heel and medial with simple, though fitting embroidered line work. Laces lock down in optical white on all options, accented adjacent with silver metallic eyelets and some subtle distressing at the ankle.
