Michael Le The Nike Blazer Mid ’77, while tame relative to, say, the Air Force 1, has gradually begun to experiment piece by piece, adding new colors, treatments, and the like every so often. The silhouette’s latest test, which follows the example of the aforementioned classic, takes on the LX moniker and applies a small handful of mini metallic swooshes to its side profile. Elsewhere, the colorway and construction are effectively ordinary, outfitted in the usual smooth leathers and suede accents. Swooshes add contrast, however, to their black-dyed backdrops, standing apart alongside the luxurious embellishments as well as the blue insignia that stamps the tongue and heel branding.
