The Nike Challenger OG Arrives In A Bright Royal Blue

2020’s been the resurgence year for a handful of the Swoosh’s Sportswear models, one being the Nike Challenger OG whose Summer/Fall entries have been gradually picking up some steam in terms of their new colorway reveals. Ostensibly running through nearly every tint of blue, the silhouette recently uncovered navy and UNC-inspired renditions, and now its applying a brighter, more saturated form shading.

Dominating its upper constructions which are split between mesh toe boxes, synthetic mid-foot sections, and suede overlays, comes a royal blue hue, while pure white accents through the laces, tongues, and midsoles that evoke memories of the palette seen on the Lakers’ alternate uniforms from the 1996-1997 NBA season. Underneath, the traditional waffle-styled outsole tones everything down with its all-black finish.
