The Nike Blazer Mid D/MS/X With Rubber Overlays Appears In Black

Nike Sportswear’s experimental D/MS/X (read: DIMSIX) line has both launched new silhouettes and reinterpreted old ones since launching in June 2019. The latest model to join the latter group is the Blazer Mid.

Unlike a previously-seen iteration, the newly-surfaced pair is predominantly clad in black. Ostensibly rubber overlays – profile swooshes, lateral reinforcement – deliver not only a non-standard design choice, but also interrupt the tonal arrangement with their pink, red, and blue palette. Elsewhere, gold metallic “NIKE AIR” and “NIKE” branding on the tongue and heel, respectively, deliver a touch of elegance to the once-basketball-court staple, with the former flanked by yellow exposed foam. Sole units opt for a classic white color scheme, but also partake in the spirit of D/MS/X with their reinforced, semi-decoupled heel structure.

Enjoy official images of this Blazer-variant ahead, and expect pairs to arrive to Nike.com before the year ends.

Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, another ISPA Road Warrior colorway has emerged.
