Converse Adds Split Terry Cloth Uppers To The Star Player

Converse Adds Split Terry Cloth Uppers To The Star Player

Lately, Converse has been ramping up the numbers for their collaboration index as they’ve swiftly released and revealed projects with the likes of Jordan Brand, A-COLD-WALL, and Tyler, The Creator‘s Golf Wang. Those projects in and of themselves are sure to garner a sizable amount of attention, so the they’re taking a second to hone in on their GR family for a second and reveal a new Converse Star Player Low colorway.

Instead of utilizing the traditional canvas uppers, the Boston-headquartered team reimagines this silhouette with full terry cloth materials which in turns adds fresh textured element. Additionally, the uppers arrive asymmetrically split in color between “Lotus Pink” lateral sides and “Potpurri” medial panels, both of which share a common denominator of pitch black branded insignias. Underneath, the midsoles complement by way of “Egret” hues paired up next to stealthy piping. If interested in copping, mark your calendars for a 9/22 release, and expect these to drop on Converse.com for $95 USD.

Elsewhere in sneaker news, the Air Jordan 1 Laser Blue colorway has been revealed.
