Since the Nike Air Max 2090 was first introduced to the world back in March, it has been persistent about putting out a wide selection of options that tap into adventurous color schemes and themes. In most recent memory we’ve witnessed the silhouette gravitate towards classical Nike treatments including that of the “Bred” and “Laser Pink” ensembles, in addition to seeing sleek-yet-functional external upgrades from the folks at 3M. And to cap off the month of September, the Swoosh team is fashioning the lifestyle runner with aquatic-like elements that speak to water molecules.
Save for the near-translucent uppers that take up most of its space, it’s the oceanic wallpapers that stand out overtly as they wrap the lateral and medial mudguards, the latter of which also comes decorated with an actual graphic of the H2O chemical compound. Furthermore, extremely fainted green accents apply to the molecule-like symbols found from the toe tips to the mid-foot, as well as atop the tongue molds and heel loops. If you’re thinking about copping, these are releasing in Asia on 9/30, but stay tuned for a stateside release on Nike.com to follow soon after.
