Ahead of NIKE, Inc.’s collaborative retro with League of Legends, the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT has emerged in a vibrant “Chile Red” arrangement complemented by “Black” and “University Gold” accents.
As the modified Jordan 1‘s name suggests, the model is built with enhanced comfort, which is achieved by reworked cushioning around the collar and in the sole unit. A layer of exposed foam delivers a bootie-like fit, and works in-tandem with the spongey tongue for a lightweight, soft fit. As scarlet branding on the tongue and insole denote, full-length Zoom Air makes its way underfoot, which elevates the 35-year-old-design’s ride. The tri-colored option forgoes any metal studs found on a previously-released “Sisterhood” iteration, but maintains cutout swooshes, a breathable ankle underlay and partially-unstitched panels around the collar and heel. While the mixed-materials upper divides itself between “Chile Red,” “University Gold” and “Black” hues, the midsole and outsole combination opts into the tried-and-tested white and “Black” combination, although the latter is accompanied by the pair’s titular red hue.
A release date is still unknown, but this Jordan 1 High-variant is likely to arrive to Nike SNKRS in late 2020 or early 2021. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the shoes here below.
