Jovani Hernandez The adidas Superstar has covered a lot of ground throughout 2020. And appropriately so, given that the year has marked the silhouette’s 50th Anniversary. While dozens of the model’s ensembles have leaned on the conservative spectrum, some have cranked up the boldness levels to 11. A women’s forthcoming pair isn’t quite as eye-catching as previous takes, but it indulges in statement-making “Silver Metallic” accents.
Like the inaugural colorway, the newly-surfaced proposal boasts a “Cloud White” leather base. The rubber sole unit also partakes in the simple, but versatile arrangement, while “Core Black” delivers stark contrast across the branding on the tongue. Profile 3-Stripes and “SUPERSTAR” text, as well as the heel overlay, however, don the women-exclusive’s most pronounced detail: shimmering, metal-reminiscent finishes. An inverse of September’s Prada collaboration, the general release arrives to adidas.com on November 1st for $90 USD, a fraction of the price of the aforementioned joint-effort.
