Michael Le Beloved even among Jordan Brand’s finest, the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” continues to be one of the core pillars of the entire line-up, the colorway Retro’d multiple times to roaring applause. And after its most recent return in 2019, it seems we’re to see the icon once again though tweaked ever-so-slightly with new materials.
As for its coloring, the pair is close but not exact due most in part to the upper’s subtle warm tint. While the ballistic mesh exterior is partly composed of dark threads, its appearance is greatly affected by the orange layer underneath, one that pokes out more overtly at each panels’ edge in a fashion similar to the Union Jordan 1s. Elsewhere, the grid cages at the vamp and profile are desaturated just as the laces and branded tabs adjacent; the latter’s Jumpman, on the other hand, complements the aforementioned warm tone with a brightened up red.
