KICKS LAB. from Japan’s Harajuku neighborhood has recently unveiled its fourth collaboration with adidas Originals: a stealthy Campus.
Beloved among fashion enthusiasts of the 1980s and ’90s eras, the low-top trainer is clad in a “Maroon Brown” and “Core Black” combination. The former, which is a popular choice around the fall and winter seasons, cover much of the pair’s suede upper. Its dark counterpart takes over the laces, profile 3-Stripes, sole units and branding on the tongue and heel. Together, each design choice on the collaborative adidas proposition creates a unified rejection of a widely-preached fashion faux pas, while delivering a makeup that’s inherently versatile even after extensive wear and tear.
