While not a milestone anniversary year for the Air Jordan 4, 2020 saw the silhouette don some of the most coveted ensembles from among the NIKE, Inc. roster. The full extent of the model’s 2021 has yet to be seen, but several teased arrangements, like the predominantly “Taupe Haze” one pictured below, suggest Michael Jordan’s fourth signature sneaker is poised to have another successful year.
Akin to both its versions confirmed as part of the Jordan Brand Spring 2021 collection, the recently-previewed Jordan 4 dons a tonal non-leather upper. Profile mesh windows, collar lining, heel panels and flaps underneath the ankles deviate from their brownish surroundings with a near-black “Oil Grey” scheme. The same tone takes over much of the midsole and outsole, while hits of “Infrared 23” animate parts of the tread and back of the tongue. Together, the palette creates a proposition that wouldn’t seem out-of-place within Travis Scott‘s collaborative catalog.
Enjoy a first in-hand look at the muted retro ahead, and expect pairs to arrive to Nike SNKRS on January 28th, 2021.
