Recently making headlines for his record-breaking $228 million supermax contract with the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo is no stranger when it comes to standing out. After all, his extraordinary athleticism has earned him the moniker “Greek Freak”, which has made its way into his signature sneakers with Nike. Continuing his tradition of exceptionalism is a GS Zoom Freak 2 that uses “Bright Crimson” and other vibrant shades for a bold look.
The coral “Bright Crimson” hue primarily dresses the upper, while white swooshes and black molded TPU pieces create contrast. Aside from Bright Crimson, blue and yellow are other vivid colors used, as seen on the tongue and heel tab, respectively. Yellow triangular tongue labels that say “FREAK” and an extra set of yellow and Bright Crimson laces further add more pops of color to the Antetokounmpo-approved style.
The pair will be released in 2021, and will be available at the retailers listed below as well as Nike.com.
In other Nike Basketball news, a new GS lilac Lebron 18 is on the way.
Updated January 27th, 2021: A U.S. release date has been scheduled for February 20th, 2021.
