Nike’s Seasonal Silver Application Appears On The Air Max 95

Nothing rings in the new year quite like the shine of metallics and glitters. For the holidays and the start of 2021, Nike has already been preparing a lineup of gold and silver offerings. Just a month after unveiling a silver textured Air Force 1, the brand has revealed a women’s Air Max 95 in a strikingly similar arrangement.

Against a stark white base, the focus is on the silvers that dress up the signature wavy overlays. The silver is only used on three layers, starting with the one closest to the tongue. However, the metallics used on the overlays are easily distinguishable since they opt for varying glitter particle sizes for either a sparkly or pearlescent finish. The contrast between the white and the silvers creates a clean look that remains a statement piece through the use of textures.

The pair will be available at the retailers listed below sometime in 2021, for $180.

If you’re still on an Air Max 95 high, check out the upcoming “Grain” colorway that resembles Stussy’s recent Air Force 1 “Fossil”.
