Paul George’s fifth signature shoe with Nike, though still yet to release, has garnered a fair bit of buzz in the very few colorways that have been revealed. And now that the aptly named PG 5 is inching closer and closer to its official debut, we’re finally catching wind of the upcoming color line whose standouts include this clean purple and orange arrangement.
Unlike the monochromatic offering seen last month, this pair is far more visually varied, replete of not only loud tones but also patterns. Across the side panel, which constructs of mesh similar to the toe box, a minimal camo-esque design is found, its shapes stitched atop the tightly woven material in contrasted white threads. Adjacent, the overlays both forward and behind are marked with various tonal splotches, the two-toned Swoosh is embedded right atop, and the heel pull and inside tongue round off the palette with hints of a bright green.
For now, take a look at these recently unveiled images. A release date is currently unconfirmed, but it should be arriving at Nike.com soon after the silhouette’s January 1st debut.
