Alongside, the upper packs many a culturally informed detail, such as the water droplets that accent the frame and the fish scales that bring blessings into the future. What’s more, “Gong Xi Fa Cai” is written atop the insole in bold, wishing prosperity to those around it.

For the release of the shoe, DEAL has created a special box that’s limited to only 100. And that’s not all, as a number of accessories were also made to pair with it. This includes a roller debossed with Chinese characters, a bandana made festive in traditional patterns, a necklace cast in gold, and even a small leather briefcase. 400ml, whose accompaniments will unfortunately not be for public sale, then round off the pack with both a graphic tee and hoodie.
