Whether you have a significant other or not, it’s hard not to fall in love with the thoughtfully-designed Valentine’s Day sneakers like the Air Force 1 “Lover Letter”. While U.S. sneakerheads will have to wait until next week to attempt to cop a pair, Reebok is letting wearers write a lover letter of their own with a holiday-inspired Club C 85 that just dropped.
The ’80s silhouette is covered in Chalk tumbled leather offset by hits of the Valentine’s Day-appropriate Merlot throughout, even coloring the often neutral-colored midsole. For this holiday edition, the Reebok logo on the side ditches the classic flag icon for a heart. This love symbol also replaces traditional branding on the tongue label and the heel tab. Furthermore, the heel tab sees pony hair materials for a premium feel. “To:” and “From” printed in cursive on the left shoe’s sockliner delivers a personal touch that distinguishes the pair from other Valentine releases. Similar to other Club C 85s, this model can be further customized on the Reebok web store by printing text on the lateral sides.
The pair is available now at Reebok Europe. North American fans can most likely grab a pair when the pair releases before February 14th, for $75.
In other news, this bright Nike Air Max 95 gets hints of snakeskin.
