The Nike KD 13 Brings Recycled Padding To All-Star Weekend

feature image

Though typically celebrated in February, All-Star Weekend is facing quite a bit of delays and changes as a result of COVID-19. And with cases only starting to take a turn for the better, it’s possible we won’t see the game for quite some time. But, regardless of whether the event takes place or not, Nike is still releasing their commemorative footwear, including pairs of LeBron 18s and even this KD 13.

While distinct in colorway, what connects this KD 13 to the rest of the pack is its use of sustainable materials. Throughout the padding, the sole evidently makes use of recycled cushioning, bearing imperfections all throughout its exterior. Elsewhere, the rest of the construction retains a contemporary look, with iridescent flaps arching over a blue-tinted upper lightly sublimated with a number of multicolor patterns and graphics. Volt Swooshes, linings, and tongue emblems then complete the design.

Take a look at the KD 13 “All-Star” right here. It’s likely a release will take place later in March at Nike.com.

In other news, the Yeezy 350 v2 Ash Stone is coming later this month.
