After bringing back the Air Jordan 13 “Flint” last year, the brand offered very little follow-ups save for the underwhelming “Starfish” and “Black Royal” colorways. But it’s clear that the Jumpman was saving the best for 2021: a “Red Flint” colorway that reminds of Kevin Martin’s own AJ13 PE.
Side-by-side, the similarities are undeniably obvious. In mimicry of the Player Exclusive, a “Gym Red” shade covers the side quilting, wrapping atop with a fabric identically patterned with reflective dots. Adjacent, white leathers dress the toe with a slight tumbling, while the counter contrasts in a premium, grey-toned suede. Tongues match both the shade and texture of the lighter neutrals adjacent, though its branded fixtures — e.g. embroidered Jumpman, “Jordan” covered vamp tab — prefer a dark black like the midsole.
Grab a close-up look at the GS, PS, and TD sizes below. All, alongside the adult option, will release at Nike.com and select retailers on May 1st.
In other news, the Jordan 1 Silver Toe releases tomorrow.
