Michael Le As iconic today as it was following its 1968 debut, the PUMA Suede continues to dress generation after generation. And for the next, the brand is gracing us with a brand new, “refreshed” update: the Suede XXI.
At a glance, not much is different from the original. The Suede XXI only features very subtle design tweaks, with most of its construction left rather true to what started it all. Suedes adorn the entirety of the upper, composing the black foundation as well as the formstripes that cross the side. Gold foil, then, adds a touch of luxury just spaces above, its text branding complementing that of the tongue’s whose space patches with PUMA’s signature woven label.
First, we’ll be seeing the model in black and white this Friday, February 19th, at a price of $70 USD. More colorways will follow on PUMA.com and select retailers down the road.
