Regrind Rubber Takes Center Stage On This Nike Daybreak Type

Regrind Rubber Takes Center Stage On This Nike Daybreak Type

NIKE, Inc.’s “Move to Zero” campaign has ramped up production of footwear options utilizing recycled materials. Among the dozens of eco-friendly pairs, the Nike Daybreak Type has delivered a handful of statement-making colorways featuring Nike Regrind material.

The latest proposition indulges in a “Rugged Orange/Monarch” palette accompanied by rich purple and vibrant neon green accents. A mix of materials make up the modernized-runner’s upper, and forgoes the see-through nature found on several previous iterations. Yet, it’s overshadowed by the multi-color Nike Regrind structure at the heel connecting top-half to sole unit. The EVA foam midsole maintains a white styling, but its waffle-patterned outsole underfoot also opts into the aesthetic and construction of the bottom heel mold.

Enjoy official images of the experimental Daybreak here below, and expect pairs to arrive to Nike.com soon.
