Away from the heritage-driven Air Force 1 and Air Max propositions, NIKE, Inc. has spent a considerable amount of time and energy on the modern, experimental front. Case in point: the Nike Zoom Type, which has recently emerged in a cream color complemented by “Guava Ice”-reminiscent flair.

Predominantly tonal, the forthcoming pair features an upper constructed from soft suede. Synthetic overlays along the tongue and near the heel deliver textural contrast, as well as functional reinforcement. Branding on the mid-foot indulges in either light pink or green tones that also appear across the tongue, heel and sole unit. Exposed Zoom Air units underfoot boast the aforementioned “Guava Ice” hue, while waffle-patterned outsoles don a muted mint color perfect for spring.
