The Nike Pegasus Trail 2 For Women Gets A “Watermelon” Look

The Nike Pegasus Trail 2 For Women Gets A “Watermelon” Look

With the return of the Nike Free Run Trail and the Zoom Terra Kiger 7 Trail, the Swoosh has been gradually catering to its audience of outdoor enthusiasts and trail athletes. Furthering its venture into this territory, the brand is delivering a women’s-exclusive green and pink-accented Pegasus Trail 2.

A plush, soft pink base is interrupted by a perforated mesh overlay, most likely in Wolf Grey.  An oversized black Swoosh is printed on the lateral sides, while the medial sides see the triangular Nike Trail logo graphic. The aforementioned grey continues onto the speckled Nike React foam midsole, which provides the utmost comfort and responsiveness to meet the physical demands of trail running. Underfoot, a rich green rubber outsole featuring a shockwave outsole pattern is found. This pattern has been modeled after bike tires, delivering multidirectional trail traction to wearers. The green is also used for the Pegasus-branded pull tab and details around the laces and hindfoot to create a watermelon-like color pairing that strays from being neon.

Enjoy official images here below while you wait for the pair to reach Nike.com in the coming months for $130.

In other women’s sneaker news, primary colors have landed on an upcoming Dunk Low.
