As a sportswear brand, Nike has been inspiring athletes to go for gold for almost sixty years. An upcoming Air Force 1 takes this concept quite literally as an arrangement using gold and rose gold accents.
The trophy design starts with a smooth white leather base that the world has become accustomed to. The rose gold-esque Rust Pink shade is applied to the leather side Swoosh and heel tab. Interestingly enough, the tongue label is also constructed from leather, clad in Rust Pink once again. As for hits of gold, the forefoot of the lateral side sees an embroidered miniature Swoosh—a detail that has decorated a handful of AF1s in recent years. More golden embroidery is used on the tongue label and heel tab to craft the Nike Air logos. Finally, the customary silver lace dubrae has been switched out for a shiny gold one to align with the winning theme.
